(More customer reviews)I bought this board to help strenghten my ligaments after a minor sprained ankle, and to improve balance for sports performance. I have been using it for a few days now and am very happy. The board is nice solid wood. I expected the bottom to be made from rubber, but it's a hard black plastic that can be easily adjusted to 3 different heights. It comes with a booklet describing some suggested exercises to do with the board. You can't really do it in socks, and bare feet only work so-so. It's best to stand on it with rubber-soled shoes that get a good grip.
