(More customer reviews)I read a lot of reviews before I bought this. I was a bit hesitant because it received so many mixed reviews, but I decided to buy it anyways. I am very happy with this product. I know people were complaining that they had bruises from using it, but I'm not sure what they were doing because I haven't had that problem. I read the instructions to take it slow and not do more than 2minutes a day when you start, so I didn't get any bruising, but I did feel that i was getting a workout. My skin gets red from the weight of the hula hoop, but it goes away immediately. I just do it for a 5 mins in the morning and 5 minutes at night while watching TV, and it's such a quick way to do something instead of nothing. I definitely recommend this product for anyone who wants a mild, easy, mindless workout. I think 3lbs was a good call for someone my size (5'2" 115lbs). If you do get it, don't be intimidated by the size of the hula hoop. It looks like it may be really difficult because it's not the hula hoop you remember as a child, but it really is quite manageable. Hope this helps!
