Its elastic material keeps the pack closely to the body maintaining any items -- especially keys and coins --- in a tight compartment and unable to rattle around. Brilliant! My one complaint is the easy loss of the plastic locking device on the waist band (which appear generic) and seem to eerily slip away. Now looking for a replacement for the male side of the locking device.
