(More customer reviews)I recently purchased the Nathan Elite 2V Dual 22-oz Cradled Hydration Waist Pack and have used it over the course of a few weeks now on 6+ mile runs. It is much better than the single bottle holster I previously used. On the plus side, the pack has good storage space in the front pouches and fits comfortably around my waist and lower back. Good quality construction which equated to much less bouncing and overall balance due to the design and distributed weight of the dual 22 oz bottles. The bottles have a carabineer type clip at the top which makes for grabbing the bottle much easier. However, I have two minor design issues with the pack. First, the loops that should hold the excess strap slack once you tighten the belt to your waist are not adjustable. Unless you have an extremely small waist, the excess strap does not reach the loops and will dangle. Therefore, I needed to get creative in order to pin down the excess. The second issue is you need to drink from each bottle fairly evenly in order to distribute the liquid weight, otherwise the pack will tend to spin if you drink more than ½ of one bottle but leave the other full. This can be a slight challenge if you like to keep 1 bottle with water and the other with a supplement mix. I thought I could tighten the belt further, but it became too uncomfortable after a short time. Although these are minor annoyances, they can become very irritating over a long run! Overall I'm pleased with the quality of the pack.
