(More customer reviews)We just used this for the past 2 weeks of day hikes thru the Canadian Rockies. I was almost always one who the wore it and I found it to be very comfortable to wear. (As one reviewer said, it is a bit loose in the waist for me generally but it's cool right now in the Rockies so it fit fine over a jacket.) I could carry lunches, snacks, and the water we needed without the backpack-shoulder-drag I used to have, and it was even comfortable on the very steep climbs we did around Banff and Jasper. We like the water bottles supplied with the pack and the fact that they can be secured to the pack, if desired. I liked the padding at the waistline and back which is why I opted for this one. It was worth the price.
