I was recommended to use a foam roller by my physical therapist but I only used the roller at my gym and wanted one for home. This is COMPLETELY better than the white rollers at my gym. The white traditional rollers compress over time and feel squishy. This PB roller is firm, light, and well-constructed. It's also much cheaper than other rollers of the same size and caliber. I also recommend the black color, b/c the roller will be on the floor so much, and the blue, red, and white rollers start looking pretty dirty over time.
